Manadatec VL45C, Colored 2K Epoxy Self-Leveling Coating (Thick Coating) – for Garages, Workshops, Industry, Warehouses and More

Manadatec VL45C is a solvent-free, colored or transparent self-leveling epoxy coating (thick coating). The coating is applied as a flowable layer and subsequently deaerated with a spike roller – ideal for mineral, cementitious concrete and screed surfaces.

Typical areas of application:

  • Garages, workshops, basements, design floors, production and storage areas, and more.
  • Substrates: concrete, screed (mineral/cementitious); existing 2K coatings after sanding.

The coating provides a durable, easy-to-clean surface and, once fully cured, is chemically resistant to common cleaning agents as well as diluted acids and alkalis.

Colors: available in many RAL shades as well as transparent.

Important: A primer is required before applying the self-leveling coating (recommendation: B471, BG80 or BG80T).

Product Description

Application
VL45C is a solvent-free, colored or transparent self-leveling epoxy coating for mineral, cementitious concrete and screed surfaces. Suitable for coating garage, workshop, design and basement floors as well as other utility areas.

Preparation
The substrate must be dry, sound, oil-free, rough and absorbent; remove loose parts/old paint. New screeds must be completely dry. Existing 2K coatings do not need to be removed but must be sanded matte. The floor must be primed in advance (recommendation: B471, BG80 or BG80T).

Mixing
Add component B completely to component A and mix with a slow-speed mixer for at least 2 minutes. Then transfer to a clean container and mix again thoroughly to avoid mixing errors. When preparing partial quantities, weigh components precisely and stir component A well beforehand.

Application method
Distribute with a notched trowel/screed rake, then deaerate with a spike roller. Working time approx. 40 minutes (20 °C). The end of the pot life is indicated by a clear increase in viscosity.

Storage
Store tightly closed at approx. 6–20 °C. For longer storage, stir component A regularly.

General application notes
Verify suitability by preliminary tests. Apply only within the optimal temperature/humidity range; relative humidity ≤ 70%. Larger batch sizes and higher temperatures shorten working time; mixes > 40 °C in the container must not be used further.

Cleaning of tools
Remove uncured residues with acetone; allow tools to air thoroughly after cleaning. Cured material can only be removed mechanically (e.g., grinding).

Disposal
Do not allow to enter drains, watercourses or soil. Uncured residues are hazardous waste; the cured system is construction/household waste.

Epoxy Floor Coating Calculator

You’re planning a new project and want to calculate the right amount of epoxy resin. Whether you're coating large surfaces like industrial floors, garages, basements, or workshops – our epoxy resin calculator gives you an accurate result. Simply enter the dimensions (length and width) of the area to be coated. Please note that absorbent surfaces should be sealed with a primer layer to prevent material loss.

Length: m
and Width: m
For m2 you need about kg per coat.
We recommend two coats of Epoxy Floor Coating.
This calculator does not apply to leveling coatings or thick coatings
